DMCA Policy
How we handle copyright concerns and takedown requests under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
1. Overview
Jupiter SEO Tool ("we", "us", or "our") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of jupiterseotool.com to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (the "DMCA"), we will respond promptly to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that are submitted to our designated agent and that comply with the requirements set out below.
This page explains how a copyright owner (or an authorized agent) can submit a takedown notice, how an affected user can submit a counter-notification, and how we deal with repeat infringers.
2. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that material available on or through our website infringes a copyright you own or control, you may notify our designated copyright agent in writing using the contact details at the bottom of this page. To be effective, your notice must include all of the information described in the next section.
3. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
A valid notice of claimed infringement must include each of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or of a person authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed — or, if a single notice covers multiple works, a representative list of those works.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail (such as the exact URL) to allow us to locate it.
- Your contact information, including your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Please note: under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages. If you are unsure whether the material is protected, you may wish to consult an attorney before submitting a notice.
4. Our Response
Upon receiving a notice that we determine to be valid, we will take the following steps where appropriate:
- Review the notice for completeness and validity.
- Remove or disable access to the material identified as infringing.
- Make a reasonable effort to notify the user associated with the affected material.
5. Counter-Notification
If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notification to our designated agent. A valid counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location at which it appeared before it was removed or disabled.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your full name, mailing address, and telephone number, together with a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court and will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice.
After we receive a valid counter-notification, we may restore the removed material within 10–14 business days, unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a legal action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity.
6. Repeat Infringer Policy
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to limit, suspend, or terminate access for any user who is found to repeatedly infringe the copyrights or other intellectual property rights of others.
7. Disclaimer & Changes
This page is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. We may update this DMCA Policy from time to time; any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
