CapCut Group Buy
at ₹199/month

In a CapCut group buy, several content creators can share the monthly subscription cost of CapCut, making it as low as $3 USD (or 199 rupees) per person. Members of a group buy usually have access to better templates, editing capabilities and certain other features, however, there are legal and security risks involved in joining a group buy that you should be aware of.

The price of video editing software can quickly mount up, particularly for independent video makers who want to keep up with the competition and use the best software. One of the most popular video editing platforms worldwide, CapCut has become a staple for creators on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram Reels, and more. Its "full suite of features" is only available with the premium subscription, however, which can not always be obtained with a slender budget.

This is where the CapCut group buy model comes in.

With the rise in popularity, many creators, especially in South Asia and Southeast Asia, are resorting to group buys as an effective, budget-friendly alternative to obtaining CapCut's best quality. A group of users pays the subscription as a group, which reduces the monthly subscription to about $3 USD or 199 rupees per person.

This is a comprehensive guide on everything you need to know about CapCut group buys, including what templates are available and what features you can find, how to join a group buy and what dangers to be aware of.

So, what is CapCut, and why is it so popular among creators?

CapCut is a TikTok parent company ByteDance's free video editing app. CapCut was released in 2020 and soon became popular among a large audience due to its ease of use, editing capabilities, and compatibility with TikTok. CapCut has been downloaded more than 500 million times worldwide, and by 2024, it is one of the most popular mobile video editors available.

While the free version of CapCut offers a decent range of features, the paid version unlocks a whole range of additional AI-powered features, more templates, commercial music licenses, cloud storage, and more. These features can be a game-changer for creators who need to post content every day or operate a content-driven business.

How much is CapCut's Pro subscription?

The individual subscription of CapCut usually costs between $7.99 and $9.99 USD per month, depending on the country. This cost may seem significant in markets such as India, where the income of creators is limited, which is why these group buy models have gained popularity in such markets.

Understanding CapCut Group Buy: How Does It Work?

A CapCut group buy is a method of purchasing a CapCut premium membership with a sum of money contributed by many users. The subscription is then divided between all group members who pay a portion of the total amount.

The cost varies from $3 USD or 199 rupees per person per month, depending on the group size and the organizer.

Most group buys occur via online communities on Telegram, Discord, Facebook Groups, and WhatsApp. One member (the organizer) takes care of the payment, subscription account, and provides access to everyone else.

Why is it beneficial to join a CapCut group buy?

• Affordable monthly subscription fees: The monthly subscription costs at $3 USD or 199 rupees is quite low when compared to an individual subscription.
• Full access to high-quality templates: Group buy members also usually have access to CapCut's high-end template library, such as CapCut group video templates and CapCut group intro templates.
• Community support: There are a number of community buy groups that will exchange work flow advice, template suggestions, and editing ideas.
• Flexibility in contracts: A large number of group buys are offered on a monthly basis, allowing creators flexibility.

Are there any legal implications for a CapCut group buy?

The truth is that it probably isn't allowed by CapCut's Terms of Service to share the same account with multiple users. In general, the premium version of CapCut is available for personal use. The group buying, which includes sharing an account with others (but not formal Team or Business Plans) exists in a legal grey area at best.

This doesn't mean all group buy arrangements are the same. Some organizers buy multi-seat or business plans and use them as such. Others have informal arrangements, which present higher risk. If you are thinking about purchasing a group, it's important to know the structure of the group before committing to a purchase.

When downloading templates in the CapCut app, you will get access to the following features:

Premium templates are one of the prime features of a CapCut group buy. One of the most useful features of CapCut is its template library; the pro version offers much more than the free plan.

So, what are CapCut group buy templates?

Group buy templates for CapCut are pre-designed editing templates—available in a membership package—that enable creators to produce high-quality and expert videos with ease. Usually these templates come with pre-programmed timelines, transitions, text animation, music synching, and effects.

There are many more popular template categories that can be accessed through the group buy:

• YouTube and TikTok intro templates.
• Smooth, cinematic transitions effect template.

How to make the best use of CapCut group buy templates?

Value comes from customisation when using templates. It's okay to use a template straight out of the box but get your fonts, colors, overlays and music right so your content sounds original. The majority of CapCut templates are fully customizable, allowing you to keep the structure while swapping out each and every visual aspect to suit your brand.

Here are some tips for how you can use CapCut group templates best:

• Use a template that is managed with the pace of your content. A slow-cut introduction doesn't work for a video with a serious and informative tone.
• Use brand colors and text instead of the sample text and colors.
• Use royalty free music instead of default music for niche.
• Create custom presets of your brand and use them in the future.

Create awe-inspiring video projects with minimal work and effort using CapCut Group Video Templates.

CapCut group video templates are made with a view to making the complete video editing procedure easier, not just the intro or transition second. The templates are all the layout of various kinds of videos.

What are some video templates for groups that creators find helpful?

• Reel/Short templates: Text and effects are pre-timed, for vertical video.
• Talking-head templates: Designed for tutorial, review or commentary material.
• Beat-synced templates: Travel, fitness, or event layouts, to name a few!
• B-Roll overlay templates: These are the templates used to add the b-roll footage to the main clip with smooth transitions.

What is the benefit of using group video templates?

Using a CapCut group video template, a creator can simply add their videos to a pre-designed format, make some edits, and export the video with ease and in mere hours. This is a huge saving of time for creators producing between 5-10 posts per week.

1. Explore the CapCut template library and choose a style or a format.
2. Look through the template to ensure it is the right pace and style for your material.
3. Choose "Use Template" and drop in your footage into the clip slots.

CapCut Group Intro Templates: Create a Memorable Brand Identity

Your first few seconds are the intro of every video, and consistency in those few seconds is what helps to create a brand over time. CapCut group intros templates provide creators with animated, top-tier intros which they would generally need to build with motion design skills.

Why are intro templates particularly significant for independent creators?

Usually an After Effects skill or freelance designer are required for professional intros. That's a feature CapCut has made available for all users with its top-tier intro templates. The first 3 to 5 seconds is all about the intro, and it needs to be done well so as to communicate production quality, reinforce your brand and set the tone for your video.

Free intro templates as well as group buy premium intro templates are the two choices available for you to pick from.

There are some free CapCut intro templates available, but they are not as diverse and are commonly used on the platform. Here are some of the features you can find in premium group buy intro templates:

• This range of designs is more unique and recent.
• More complex visuals (layered animation, 3D effects).
• Greater customization flexibility.
• Low chance of being featured in other creators' work.
