Copymatic Group Buy
at ₹199/month

A Copymatic group buy offers a more affordable subscription to the AI writing platform, often at just $3 USD per user. It's an excellent option for freelancers, small agencies, and content teams seeking top-tier AI copywriting capabilities without individual subscriptions.

From a fledgling group of new gadgets, AI writing tools have become a staple for content teams across the globe. However, with the increase in adoptions, budgets are also increasing. One Copymatic subscription can strain resources, particularly for smaller agencies, solopreneurs or teams that are growing their content production quickly.

That's where the group buy model comes in. Instead of buying each user an individual subscription, many users subscribe in groups and share the subscription, thereby sharing the same robust capabilities while paying significantly less per user.

This post explains precisely how Copymatic group buys work, the expense, what you acquire, as well as the threats to be mindful of. At the end, you'll have all the tools necessary to help you determine if a group buy arrangement is right for your content operation.

So, what is Copymatic and why do content creators use it?

Copymatic is an artificial intelligence (AI) content-generation tool that creates high-quality content for marketers, bloggers, agencies, and copywriters. It has a vast collection of templates for blog posts, product descriptions, ad copy, social media, email sequences and more.

Core features include:

• An artificial intelligence text generating tool that produces content in dozens of formats that is human-like.
• Long-form content assistant that helps to create complete blog posts and articles.
• Multilingual support – content is generated in different languages.
• SEO friendly content tools to optimize copy for search engines.
• Templates of high converting formats like landing pages, CTA, email subject lines etc.

For teams that create content on a massive scale, Copymatic will relieve the pain of manual writing. It is a very useful tool, especially for the efficiency gains, which reduces hours of work to minutes. The issue for many users is the price of the subscription in relation to budget.

What is a Copymatic Group Buy?

The group buy is simple: a user buys a Copymatic subscription, and allows a fixed number of additional users to share that purchase.

The old-style individual subscription is too expensive for premium access. Group buys reverse this situation. A group of five, ten or even twenty contributors share in the cost rather than one person. The user pays a proportion of the regular fee, for a user who uses the same capabilities on the platform.

Typically the structure goes as follows:

1. Organizer pays the Copymatic plan and holds the account credentials.
2. Participants agree to pay their own fees in advance, or on a monthly basis to the organizer.
3. Access is provided via common logins or sub-accounts.
4. The larger the group, the greater the savings will be.

There are group buy websites for AI tools for writing, such as Telegram, Discord, Reddit, and even SEO/content marketing forums. It gained particular popularity following AI writing tools that added more capabilities and upped the subscription fees in 2022-2023.

Copymatic Pricing Breakdown: Individual vs. Group Buy

Before making any agreements, it is essential to grasp the numbers.

How much is each Copymatic worth?

The basic pricing for Copymatic is around ₹199 per month (about $3 USD) and could increase depending on word count limits and the advanced features. In addition, annual billing usually provides some significant savings over monthly billing, and some group-buy providers may even be able to save you about $199 per year at the full plan rate.

How much are group buy arrangements usually?

Group buy providers typically provide access to Copymatic as low as $3 USD per user, depending on the size of the group. The speed will vary according to:

• The greater the group size: The lower the per user costs.
• Plan tiers: Higher plan tiers are more expensive to split, and provide more features per user.
• Larger term: Lower rate per month (annual compared to monthly).
• The prices for provider: Third-party group buy providers are determined by them.

Individual vs. group buy?

The savings on an annual subscription basis to individual subscriptions by a content team of 10 can easily exceed hundreds of dollars. For agencies that have multiple clients, that gap can add up.

There are several advantages to participating in a Copymatic Group Buy.

The potential for substantial cost savings for teams and agencies.

The main advantage, at least at the moment, is the money it will save you. In case of a single freelancer paying full price for Copymatic, the subscription is 100% to that freelancer. If there are 10 people in a group, then each person is responsible for 10%. This is a great way to quickly get started with the tool for teams that have limited budgets or for individual creators trying out the tool before making a decision to use it regularly.

There is access to higher level AI writing features at a lower cost.

Group buys usually offer mid- or high-tier Copymatic plans, which offer more long-form content creation, advanced templates, and word count limits, for the cost of a basic tier plan.

Support for growing content operations that scale.

Bigger agencies and content teams can join a group buy at no significant cost per user. Having this flexibility is a great thing when content volume is rising and revenue is not following quickly enough, as is the case during growth.

Rapid and efficient processing

At the basic level, Copymatic can really help speed up content creation. AI can help generate blog posts that would traditionally require a couple hours to research and write in no more than 30 minutes. This adds up to a considerable amount of time saved over the year for teams that have more than one production per week.

To join or organize a Copymatic Group Buy:

Locating and joining into an existing group buy community

There are a number of existing communities and providers that have pre-arranged Copymatic group buys. To look at:

• SEO and content marketing forums (Black Hat World, Warrior Forum).
• AI-related and digital marketing Telegram and Discord groups.
• Forums such as Reddit (r/SEO, r/blogging, r/artificial).
• Dedicated group buy platforms that specialize in SaaS tool sharing.

For assessing a provider, look for user reviews, length of time in operation, and if they provide any uptime or access guarantee.

Hints for self-organizing a group buy.

If you would rather arrange the situation with trusted people:

1. Determine who will be in your group, whether it's other colleagues, other freelancers, or community members who will be willing to participate in the costs.
2. Choose the Copymatic plan: Choose a tier to support the group's needs collectively.
3. Determine the rules of the contribution: establish pricing, payment schedule, and renewal conditions prior to the start of the collaboration.
4. Assign a person to be an account manager: This is the individual responsible for billing, credential changes and communication with Copymatic.
5. Document the arrangement: If there is a simple written agreement, this will help to avoid any future disagreements.

When selecting group buy providers, safety must be taken into account.

All group buy providers are not created equal. Check the provider's history of accessibility, helpfulness, and pricing before investing money. Providers that are not present in the community, and have no history of services, are more likely to suddenly be unavailable.

Challenges of Copymatic Group Buys

Group buying can save money, and it has some pros and cons to consider.

The terms of service and limitation of account sharing are similar.

Similar to many SaaS solutions, Copymatic's terms of service usually prohibit sharing an account with more than one user. There are gray zones (or outright violations) of these conditions for group buy arrangements. This includes possible suspension of accounts if the provider notices unusual patterns of logins or multiple logins at once.

Security and privacy issues

Shared accounts, shared access. Whatever content you create, save or store in the account can be accessed by others who use the same credentials. This is a real risk to privacy when working with sensitive client data and/or proprietary content strategies.

Access to limited or no direct support.

Group buy users can generally not communicate directly with the official Copymatic support team, since the group buy account is owned by the organizer. The problem resolution relies completely on the organizer's responsiveness.

Reliability of third-party providers

Third-party group buy providers may cease to exist, increase prices without warning, or not renew the group buy's underlying subscription. When this occurs, there is very little that can be done for the user. This risk is minimized for providers who have been around for a while, but it is never eliminated.

Should Your Team Get a Copymatic Group Buy?

It depends on the priorities.

If you want to buy a group purchase:

• You're testing out Copymatic before deciding to go with a personal plan.
• Get individuals to pay for their own subscriptions just isn't feasible due to budget restrictions.
• You understand the pros and cons of shared access.
• You are in a trusted team with little privacy concerns.

If it best suits your needs, select an individual subscription:

• You're dealing with important client information that needs to be kept private.
• Access should be reliable and continuous, and not reliant on third party systems.
• You need to have direct access to the official support channels of Copymatic.
• You're using a lot of it, and need dedicated resources.

The decision to choose the right method of producing your content strategy is a difficult one to make.

For content creators seeking high-quality AI writing without the hefty price tag of per-person subscriptions, Copymatic group buys offer a viable alternative. Prices can't be beat, especially for freelancers, small agencies, and expanding content teams with tight budgets, who are worth every penny.

However, there are practical implications to consider: possible account sharing limitation issues, possible terms and conditions of service conflicts, and relying on the third party's reliability to keep the account running. Be honest with yourself when considering your content needs, privacy requirements and risk tolerance before committing.

The smart approach is to get a group buy to prove the value of the tool, and move to individual accounts as Copymatic becomes a part of the workflow. During the trial period, evaluate what features you use, how often you use them and if you feel they are worth a subscription.
